To demonstrate our commitment to cultivating a superior product, we have earned the following certifications from these respected consumer education groups.

Non-GMO Project Verified

In our dedication to producing indisputably Pure food, FreshBox Farms has made the decision to not grow using Genetically Modified Organisms (GMOs). Our farming techniques enable us to achieve high and reliable yields without the usage of these organisms. We comply with the Non-GMO Project Standard, and undergo ongoing testing of all major GMO risk ingredients, facility inspections, and an annual audit to ensure that we meet the highest possible standards of GMO avoidance.

Kosher Certified

FreshBox Farms also takes steps to make sure that every stage of our production process is accounted for. Our labels say “Kale” – Period. And we carefully grow and package all of our food to guarantee that that’s exactly what you’ll get, with no trace ingredients or contaminants. FreshBox Farms’ greens have been Kosher certified by KVH Kosher, one of the top Kosher certification agencies in North America. This confirms that our greens and growing methods adhere to all Kosher requirements, It also serves as a testament to the purity and integrity of our farm’s operation – for both adherents and non-adherents to Kosher Law.

Commonwealth Quality Program Certified

Our farm is headquartered in Millis, Massachusetts, just outside of Boston. We, too, call Massachusetts home, and are glad to be able to grow locally for our friends and neighbors. Therefore, we are very proud to have earned the Commonwealth Quality Program Certification, which affirms that we prioritize the safety of our consumers and the wellbeing of the environment. Specifically, the CQP certifies that we “employ the best management practices and production standards that ensure consumers receive the safest, most wholesome products available.

United States Department of Agriculture’s ‘Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices’ Certification

In order to institutionalize our safety and quality control practices, we sought to acquire the United States Department of Agriculture’s ‘Good Agricultural Practices and Good Handling Practices’ certification. This seal holds us accountable to produce, package, handle, and store our greens in a manner that minimizes risk of microbial food safety hazards. We are thrilled to take all measures to ensure that our produce is the purest and cleanest possible.
